Terry Cooke
I began my soccer career at Manchester United at the age of fifteen, coming through their famous youth system with Giggs, Beckham, Scholes, Butt and the Neville brothers. After two years on the youth team I was offered my first professional contract by Sir Alex Ferguson. A year later I made my professional debut against Bolton Wanderers at Old Trafford.

In 1999 I had a loan move to Manchester City, after two months Manchester City wanted to make the deal a permanent one. By signing for the team I became only the third player in history to be transfered directly from Manchester United to rivals Manchester City. During three seasons at Manchester City I was part of the team that won back to back promotions, and also played in the famous 1998-1999 playoff final at Wembley Stadium. The game went to a penalty shootout, I took one and scored we won the game and secured promotion. Having spent three seasons with Manchester City I then had season long spells with Grimsby Town and Sheffield Wednesday.

I spent ten years playing in England, I then made a move across the pond to embark on a playing career here in the United States. In February 2005 I signed for the Colorado Rapids of Major League Soccer. In four and a half seasons for the club I played in over 100 games. In November of 2009 I was offered another exciting opportunity and signed for North Queensland Fury in Australia. Here I had the pleasure of playing alongside Liverpool F.C. legend Robbie Fowler.

Soccer has taken me on some exciting journeys, with both high and low points. I can honestly say that having had the opportunity to play for clubs like Manchester United and Manchester City and also in countries such as America and Australia playing the game I love I am very blessed.
